Please visit recently launched The Porter Voice Collective a place to listen to, celebrate, amplify and elevate the porter voices in Peru, Nepal and Tanzania.

This movement aims to decolonize the trekking tourism industries in all three regions and create new best practices that will improve the working conditions and the lives of porters, including indigenous women who are becoming more a part of the industry.

The improvement in the working conditions will result in their success in this male-dominated industry that have yet to demonstrate gender equality.
